## Senior Director of Product Design
The Senior Director of Product Design reports to the VP of UX, and Director and Senior Manager of Product Design report to the Senior Director of Product Design.

### Responsibilities
- **Design strategy:** Define and drive the Product Design strategy that aligns with overall company objectives. Utilize user research, analytics, and feedback to inform and prioritize initiatives.
- **Design operations:** Manage the Product Design budget, including compensation planning, non-headcount budget allocation, and tradeoff decisions.
- **Leadership collaboration:** Partner with the VP of UX, UX peers, and product leaders to define and advance the UX vision. Build cross-functional partnerships to advocate for design-led thinking and drive action on initiatives beyond the design team's scope.
- **Design quality:** Lead initiatives to measure and improve design quality, including the use of UX (K)PIs and evaluations such as UX Scorecards, to track and improve user satisfaction and experience.
- **Design advocacy:** Champion Product Design across the organization, ensuring its seamless integration into the Product Development lifecycle and other key workflows. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to enhance efficiency and drive impactful outcomes.
- **Design system:** Guide the evolution and advancement of the design system to ensure it scales and supports new and existing product needs.

### Requirements
- 15+ years in product design, with at least 7 years in leadership roles managing people and teams at scale.
- Relevant, progressive experience managing product design managers and leading product design for a company that focuses on enterprise, developer, and/or business tools.
- Proven ability to lead and create an environment that empowers remote design teams, driving the changes needed to enable them to deliver high-impact work.
- Solid visual awareness with understanding of basic design principles like typography, layout, composition, and color theory.
- Demonstrated ability to drive impactful outcomes by translating high-level strategy (the why) into actionable design deliverables (the how) informed by research.
- Passion for creating visually pleasing and intuitive user experiences.
- Collaborative team spirit with great communication skills.
