Allow passing environment variables

It would be nice, if I could pass environment variables to the job. For example: /gitlab run test/test-job ID=1 or: /gitlab run test/test-job ID=1&OS=linux This would set environment variable ID=1. Is it possible right now? I not, can such functionality be added?
