Laravel Forge/GitLab integration
Taylor Otwell is going to release a GitLab integration for Laravel Forge: https://forge.laravel.com/
The tl;dr is you can deploy code with Forge using a GitLab repo. Forge is pretty popular so this would be a cool thing to promote...somehow.

- In GitLab, select the branch you want to be the branch you deploy (master, deploy).
- When ready, press the "Deploy" Button on the dashboard to deploy your code.
- Should you choose, Forge can automatically run your migrations
