List Categories in Order of Maturity on Maturity page
Maturity Page Updates and Content Management
Parent Epic:Overview
The challenge: Currently, on the Maturity page, the categories in the category maturity section are not displayed in order of actual maturity (most complete to least complete, lovable vs. viable). As a result it is hard to understand which product areas are leading/competing in market, getting high utilization or nearing opportunity for increased utilization/promotion, etc. This results in a lack of clarity for users, such as investors, in terms what phase various areas of the product are at and the resulting priorities.
Proposal: Update the Category maturity section of the page content to such that categories are listed in order of maturity, from most mature to least mature. Categories listed under On our roadmap may remain at the bottom. Ideally this should be automated using one source of truth. In the interim, it should be updated manually.
Goal
Goal: Improve clarity of maturity level for categories and joint status of features across the product ecosystem.
Metric: Decrease in confusion and/or questions about maturity level of categories from users such as investors.
Considerations
- Longer term, this entire page needs review to determine if using maturity or some other similar logic in every section of the page would be helpful in clarifying that state of product and priorities.
Next Steps
-
Determine if On the roadmap items should be presented in alphabetical order-- if we are not currently listing them in order of actual priority or planned release to market, alpha order recommended -
Determine if the page content is currently manually or auto updated -
If manual, update eng team members manually and devise plan for automaton in the future
