Purpose

Define a north star metric for the Create:Knowledge group for Wiki

What is a north star metric

The singular, most important, trackable action that can measures success for our group.

Our north star

In Wiki, there were two main areas we could evaluate: Creates/updates and views. We decided to go with the views because we feel that views represents the total value of the wiki. For example, if someone is making many updates and no one is reading the wiki, it's less valuable to the organization.

We also feel we could drive page views

• Adding Group Level wiki will enable collaboration
• Improvements to sidebar navigation and search will also help this
