Solidarity in practice: The story of Digital Democracy and Mapeo
Description
This talk will share the story of how Digital Democracy co-developed Mapeo, a decentralized tool for community-owned data. Sharing real life examples of the needs of communities in remote places, we'll explore the lessons learned along the way to building decentralized technology that is now being used in dozens of countries around the globe, by communities on the frontlines of fighting to defend their lands.
