Source MATLAB code
If you have a full version of MATLAB you can use the main version of CytoMAP. You can download the necessary MATLAB files to run CytoMAP here. This will be the most up to date version, containing all of the individual MATLAB function files.
To run CytoMAP in MATLAB you will also need to install MATLAB 2018b or later and the following toolboxes:
- Optimization Toolbox
- Deep Learning Toolbox
- Image Processing Toolbox
- Signal Processing Toolbox
- Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox
- Bioinformatics Toolbox
Once all of the toolboxes have been installed, add the folder containing the main CytoMAP.m file, and all of the helper .m files, to the MATLAB path and run CytoMAP from the command line, by typing in 'CytoMAP'.
Compiled MATLAB APP version
You can also install CytoMAP as a compiled app through the mathworks app store. This is done by opening MATLAB, navigating to the APPS tab, clicking Get More Apps then searching for CytoMAP. This version will be updated periodically, but will typically not be the latest version. This version can also be downloaded here.
If you do not have access to MATLAB, you can download an installer for the compiled version of CytoMAP here
For the compiled version there is less built in functionality in the figure window. However, you do not need to install a full version of MATLAB.
