Downhole structural data representation
Following the completion of #305 (closed), structural data taken downhole shall be displayed over suitable graphical representation.
Lines
- Plunge-Direction standard symbols (9.3-9.7-9.8) referenced to a synthetic North over a regular downhole graph
- Area-normalized rose diagrams
- Zenithal-Equatorial stereographic projections
Planes
- Dip-Direction standard symbols (6.1-6.2-6.3) referenced to a synthetic North over a regular downhole graph
- Zenithal-Equatorial stereographic projections
Display area
Regardless of the type of orientation data and/or graphical representation, the diagrams shall be placed into a dedicated sub-window for individual feature selections as well as interval selections.
Data selection
- Individual feature selections shall be based on either table selection or in-graph direct feature selection
- Interval selections may be based on extended data tied to the same drillhole or otherwise user-defined
Statistics
Where applicable:
- Mean Resultant length
- Mean direction
- Circular variance
- Spherical variance
- Concentration
