Formal registration of the port?

Today, Gemini's port, 1965, is not officially registered in the IANA registry. 1965 is currently registered for the tivoli-npm service. It appears to be long forgotten. The contact is Ivana Cuozzo, but the email address bounces (the Tivoli company stopped many years ago). IANA was contacted about this issue (ticket [IANA #1190212]) but offered no practical way to de-assign (sections 8.2 and 8.4 of RFC 6335) the port. So, it seems we cannot have officially 1965.

1. Request another port (see RFC 6335) and tell clients and servers to move?
2. Continue using 1965?
