Auto-Corrected text reverts back to original word

Hi, I'm using styncynotes version 1.1 on a Fairphone 5, /e/OS with FUTO Keyboard (Version 0.1.25-192-g801d2faa6-playstore)

I find whenever I mis-type a word and then select the suggested spelling from Futo Keyboard, as soon as I continue typing, the corrected word will revert back to the original mistyped text.
