StartDate may be taken from milestone start date

For our last project, we had a planning phase at first, in which we created several milestones and a lot of issues, assigned to the milestones. The start and due date for each issue was equal to the ones of the linked milestone, so we didn't want to write them to every one of them, especially as it was not clear in that phase if we had to move some issues (and their dates) to another milestone.

Sadly, only the due date of the milestone was used for the issue, but the issue creation date was used as start date. This still seems to be the case in the new version. Could you add this at least as option?

Thanks

Old Issue by @adimit:

This may not be appropriate for all users, but I'd like the option to take the start date from the milestone start date.

My use case is that I plan work in monthly or quarterly intervals into weekly milestones. The issue is created during this planning stage, but doesn't start until its weekly milestone comes around, so I'd like the option to automatically take the start date from the milestone it's assigned to, rather than having to type in a manual start-override for every single issue (in addition to having to assign it to a milestone.)

Thanks ☺
