Introduction
Gaia-X Tech-X 2025 and Hackathon #8 will take place Tuesday, 13 May 2025, and Wednesday, 14 May 2025, in Valencia, Spain, (partly) in parallel to this year's Market-X.
This event is organized in partnership with the Gaia-X Hub Spain.
As in the previous years, we will provide two separate streams of activities for our technical audience:
- main stage for presentations or also more interactive forms of engagements with the audience, and
- hackathon (in a separate and also nice room)
Call for Proposal
Please send your proposal to Sumiya, sumiya.sultana+tech-x@gaia.x.eu.
🎙️ Presentation
As the event is mainly targeted towards a technical audience (whose tolerance for BS is known to be limited), we will prioritize technical presentations over business ones. However, linking technical contents with business requirements is also more than welcomed (but difficult).
Presentations will need to be related to the whole Gaia-X ecosystem and not relevant only for a single project (so you will need to generalize your project's most important findings to be accepted).
When submitting your proposal, please provide the following information :
- Title
- Short description/summary
- Duration: 15min/30min/60min
- Speaker(s) name, picture and short resume
- Contact information (won't be published)
🧑💻 Hackathon
Few rules are expected for Hackathon proposals (hacks):
- They must concern the Gaia-X ecosystem and not only a single project
- They should use Gaia-Compliance Document 24.11 (
v2
, Loire) and GXDCH for compliance validation. - They might improve Gaia-X experience, on-boarding or help spread knowledge within the community or they can remediate technical debt, improve Gaia-X components quality or address business needs that are not yet fulfilled
- Most of the implementation must be done during the hackathon
When submitting your proposal for a hack, please provide the following information:
- Hack session name
- Summary about what's being hacked
- Knowledge required for the audience to participate
- Name, picture and short resume of the hack leaders
- Contact information (won't be published)
We almost forgot: All hacks will be evaluated by a jury with the three best hacks being rewarded
Registration
Registration has not yet opened.
Agenda
We will provide the agenda after the CfP has been closed and we have compiled the final list of presentations and hacks.
