Calibre is an all-in-one, open source eBook library manager. It operates in two modes, Client and Server.
Calibre in a server capacity is an excellent option for larger maintenance of your library, such as a central one for a network.
On Ubuntu there's both a calibre package and a Linux installer in Python provided by the group (sudo -v && wget -nv -O- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kovidgoyal/calibre/master/setup/linux-installer.py | sudo python -c "import sys; main=lambda:sys.stderr.write('Download failed\n'); exec(sys.stdin.read()); main()").
Create a directory structure for the library (example: <NFS Mount>/Documents/Books/)
sudo ln -s <library> /var/lib/calibre
Add incoming books
Add all books to the incoming directory created earlier.
