IDE does not minimise windows on "run w/o debugging" despite setting

  • Lazarus/FPC Version: Lazarus 2.2.0 / FPC 3.2.2 Lazarus 2.3.0 / FPC 3.3.1
  • Operating System: macOS
  • CPU / Bitness: 64

What happens

Check Lazarus > Preferences > Environment > Windows [X] Hide IDE windows on run

IDE only minimises for "run with debug" (when you almost definitely need to NOT minimise) and does not minimise on "run without debugging".

What did you expect

That the IDE would minimise for both "run with debugging" and "run without debugging", although ignoring the setting for "run with debugging" would seem more sensible but the option foes not indicate this behaviour.

Steps to reproduce

Check Lazarus > Preferences > Environment > Windows [X] Hide IDE windows on run
