gpm mouse events in fv apps and IDE broken?

Description:

When using the IDE or any of my FV apps with gpm, I have to click on the button (buttons, close cmClose, maximize -> cmZoom, etc) and then either click again or move the mouse to generate another mouse event before the first event registers.

My gpm install does seem to be fine though as it works in links in console mode and in X as a gpm repeater as expected.
