Text mode IDE can not find unit System on a fresh Ubuntu install
Text mode IDE can not find unit System if trying to compile simple "Hello, world!" app on a fresh Ubuntu install.
User should manually add
-Fu/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/fpc/$fpcversion/units/$fpctarget
-Fu/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/fpc/$fpcversion/units/$fpctarget/*
-Fu/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/fpc/$fpcversion/units/$fpctarget/rtl
to fp.cfg in the project folder to fix it, but it's quite counterintuitive.
Suggestion: on Linux, text mode IDE should get unit paths from /etc/fpc.cfg by default if fp.cfg does not exist in the current folder.
