gl.pp is very out of date

Original Reporter info from Mantis: crlab @neurolabusc1
  • Reporter name: Chris Rorden

Description:

Hello-
The version of gl.pp in fpcsrc/packages/opengl is 1.2.1, and is essentially OpenGL as it existed in 2000. I would like to suggest that the FreePascal team consider moving to the dglOpenGL.pas header translation that supports OpenGL up to 4.1. This would remove a major dependency for any user who want to user modern OpenGL features such as shaders.
