### Context mesa 26.0.5 shipped with a severe regression for the Asahi OpenGL driver resulting in visual artifacts making many applications unusable. ### Description Reported upstream in [mesa#15288](https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/work_items/15288). This affects [freedesktop-sdk-25.08.10](https://gitlab.com/freedesktop-sdk/freedesktop-sdk/-/releases/freedesktop-sdk-25.08.10) and [freedesktop-sdk-24.08.31](https://gitlab.com/freedesktop-sdk/freedesktop-sdk/-/releases/freedesktop-sdk-24.08.31). The regression is fixed upstream in backported commit [64f83392090](https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/commit/64f8339209087af360cee91d5f132e44bce204fe) and included in mesa 26.0.6. Possible fixes for this regression are carrying commit [64f83392090](https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/commit/64f8339209087af360cee91d5f132e44bce204fe) as patch for mesa 26.0.5 or update to mesa 26.0.6. For 24.08 !31926 contains a mesa bump to 26.0.6. I haven't found a corresponding change for 25.08 though.
