Failed to build Spotify on 1.8 unstable
Context
I decided to try and build a large Flatpak app on our 1.8 unstable app.
Description
I followed the steps Javier mentioned in the mailing list in order to load in the latest unstable 11.8 as a runtime:
> flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists --user --no-gpg-verify freedesktop-sdk https://cache.sdk.freedesktop.org/releases/
> flatpak install --user freedesktop-sdk runtime/org.freedesktop.Sdk//unstable
> flatpak install --user freedesktop-sdk runtime/org.freedesktop.Platform//unstable
I then installed the electron runtime from Flathub, which is a dependency of Spotify:
flatpak install flathub io.atom.electron.BaseApp
> flatpak-builder build_folder org.app.json
> flatpak-builder --run build_folder org.app.json
After a few minutes of build time, i was then presented with this error log:
Building module spotify in /home/adam.jones/freedesktop/com.spotify.Client/.flatpak-builder/build/spotify-1
========================================================================
Running: install apply_extra /app/bin

cp: cannot stat '/usr/lib/libbfd-*.so': No such file or directory

Acceptance Criteria
This can be closed once we have a successful spotify build on 1.8
