# Softskin mesh exporter addon
This modules makes it possible (not 'easy') to configure a mesh for Softkin module in [godot engine](http://godotengine.org).
The exporter will be able to differentiate 2 types of vertices and two kind of edges:
- vertices > **dot**: dots are part the displayable part of a mesh, they receive forces and generate normal;
- vertices > **anchor**: anchor are reference location in 3d, not displayed;
- edge > **fiber**: fibers are faces edges, they apply forces on the 2 dots they are linked to;
- edge > **ligament**: ligaments connect dots to anchors, they apply force only on the dot they are linked to.
## Basic rules:
- only edges that does not belong to a face will be considered as **ligaments**
- only vertices that does not belong to a face will be considered as **anchors**
## Groups:
To control the parameters of the different kind of objects (dots, fibers & ligaments), you have to create groups and name them following this naming convention:
- prefix: **ssd_**: for softskin dot, all vertices belonging to this will be grouped in a SoftskinGroupDot
- prefix: **ssf_**: for softskin fiber, all vertices belonging to this will be grouped in a SoftskinGroupFiber
- prefix: **ssl_**: for softskin ligament, all vertices belonging to this will be grouped in a SoftskinGroupLigament
Anchors can not be group as they don't have any special features appart belonging to a ligament.
