Add FEI TIA file metadata to fpd hdf5 file?

We have been collecting data recently using the FEI TIA software to control the beam scan rather than Digital Micrograph. It would be nice to include the relevant metadata from the TIA file in the fpd hdf5 file. The DM metadata is currently stored in the HDF5 group fpd_expt/DM0 so it would be nice to have another group called TIA. The metadata is easily parsed using Hyperspy. Would you be interested in this sort of thing? Or, would it be better if I just made my own scripts to embed the TIA metadata outside of FPD?
