Z-Phosphor

Project information

Z-PHOSPHOR is a 2-minute 10 second demoscene production rendered at 3840×2160 @ 60fps using pure C on IBM z/OS. No GPU, no SIMD, no shortcuts.— every pixel computed on a z15 8562 mainframe via double-precision floating point.

Nine scenes pay tribute to the classic demoscene canon: tunnels, raster bars, the Amiga Boing Ball, ray-traced chrome spheres, Mandelbrot zoom, SDF morphing, and particle effects — all driven by Purple Motion's Charts Overdrive at 126 BPM.
