Prevent submitting overridden values via an ActorSheet submission by removing fields which currently have an active effect override from the submitted data structure
A consequence of this is that the default
ActorSheet will prevent submitting updates for fields which are currently modified by an active effect. Those active effects would need to be removed (temporarily) in order to edit the base data.
Alternatively game systems can implement more customized logic by overriding the
ActorSheet#_getSubmitData method to either remove this restriction or replace it with more nuanced logic.
