Make it visible if a foodsaver is verified yet
Description
Store manager get sometimes requests from non-verified foodsavers who want to join the pickup team. However, once in the team (non-verified) foodsavers could acquire information that she/he could misuse. (Therefore, as also said in our wiki, it is recommended not to let unverified foodsharers into a team.) Currently store manager do not have the possibility to see (prior to accepting into the pickup team) whether the interested foodsharer (with zero pick-ups) is verified or not. The only possibility is, to either ask and trust the (in worst-case scenario not trustful) foodsharer or to let the foodsharer in the team and see then if she/he is verified or not: unverified fs are greyed. This process makes it a bit more difficult and could hamper verified-but-not-yet-active foodsavers to become part of their first team. Also, for some foodsavers it would be more secure if they knew if foodsavers are verified or not, especially for food baskets offers and pick-ups. In a worst-case scenario, unverified foodsharers could not be blocked nor a report to the police could be made if he/she gives no or false information about her/his name or address.
Impact
For store manager and above.
Proposal
It would be great to see if a registered person is verified on their profile. Some other store manager support this idea.
- They could be given a proper status name (“Sebastian is Foodsharer in …” versus “Sebastian is Foodsaver in ….”)
- They could or to have the green (bubble) statistic already shown after verification without pickups (and not only once they have done their first pickup as it is now).
