Replace inline-style clear:both with HTML class
Description
In quite some areas, we're still building parts of the page server-side and then deliver the constructed HTML to clients.
There, and in some older frontend templates, inline CSS is quite common: <div style="...">
and friends.
Goal
To better understand how we style which parts, it helps to write styles in CSS and only choose which styles to use from HTML.
Evidence
Many *Control and *View.php files, six Twig templates, even some inline-manipulated CSS through JavaScript.
Solution
- Use the
.clear
class we already have defined incss/style.css
for the easy cases - Potentially use
.ui-helper-clearfix
fromcss/style.css
for the hard cases (if those even exist)
Links / references
Example inline-styles:
- src/Modules/Blog/BlogView.php
- src/Modules/Dashboard/DashboardControl.php
- src/Modules/Quiz/QuizView.php
- templates/partials/avatarList.twig
- (there are more!)
Example of class usage:
- in BlogView too
- src/Modules/Dashboard/DashboardView.php
- src/Modules/Profile/ProfileView.php
- templates/pages/Region/regionTop.twig
