Reading large dimension EXRs causes Photoshop to Crash

ProEXR & ProEXR EZ 2.6 Photoshop 22.4.1

Attempting to read (via open, place, replace smart object contents) a single layer rgb exr with pixel dimensions approximately 30k square causes Photoshop to crash.
