Suggestion: Backup Server. And a loveletter.
This is more of an suggestion, I really don't know if it is (easily) doable; not really an issue. And to be clear, I do neither request or even demand anything, just some user feedback. Grateful for everything you do. I LOVE IT. I'm another step closer to completely abandoning google and their god awful ecosystem and that simply wouldn't be possible without this (quite sophisticated) solution.
To the suggestion: Add a Backup Server functionality, or to add one or more additional servers. If the phone actually gets lost and and one is unlucky (the server is down or nor reachable), all of the WebUI functionality gets lost. At least the SMS functionality would still work, but in that "emergency event" having an UI with a Map and whatnot would be great. (And knowing my luck, my server WILL be down for whatever reason precisely when I loose my phone. You can count on it).
Thank you again for this project. To be fair, I mainly use it (as I did with google's service) just to let it ring in DND, because I constantly loose it in the apartment. But once the google service also helped me finding it when I lost it. Tried the location, ringing and all other feautres (well, except for the wipe...) for over a week now on three Android Devices and I shit you not, this small open source project done by few people in private time actually works much better then what google came up with. No matter where was, what time of day or whatever the circumstance, all device instantly react to the WebUI. Heck, Google was never able to ring my tablet and my phone needs often 10-120 seconds until it rings. Nope, tablet unused for three days, yet it'll just start ringing when I ask it to. It just bloody works. THANK YOU.
I would also like to donate to show my appreciation, but I do not have credit cards. Do you accept Monero or Bitcoin? Words are nice and all, but won't buy you a coffee or whatever, and that's the least I owe you.
