Error displayed after successful pledge

I just launched a new Flipstarter based on the master branch of this repository. Everything is functional, but the campaign page displays and error after a successful pledge is made, when the front end calls this endpoint: /submit/1

This forces the user to reload the page in order to see their pledge. The pledge goes through just fine, but it's confusing to the end user.
