dctrl-tools package missing (Linux - Fedora 42 - x86_64)

The script doesn't work on Fedora 42 linux distro because dctrl-tools package is missing... looking at the code it seems to me that this script is only for linux debian's compatible distros. If that's the case, this ticket should be taken as a feature request to port the script at least to redhat's compatible linux distros.
