emacs: Remove newline from yas snippets · 792b3f34
      Fernando Basso authored
It looks like yasnippet inserted newlines inside some snippets causing
their expansion to also add newlines after the expanded text, which is
especially bad for “inline” stuff, like:

         Try `bt<Tab>
         ` and see.

It causes the line break between ` and `.

Looking for yasnipet issues, it seems it should already set

         mode-require-final-newline
         require-final-newline

both to nil, but it is not happening for some reason. I set them
manually when visiting the snippet files and ran:

        (setq mode-require-final-newline nil)
        (setq require-final-newline nil)

Then I removed the last newline and saved the files...

git: Create some bash aliases for git · 1eb03ae4
      Fernando Basso authored
Git built-in alias functionality has some limitations. We still need to
type ‘git’, a space, then some more chars. It can't be as short as ‘gl’,
for instance. Also, I couldn't find a way to use custom ENV VARS like

      	git config --global alias.gl 'COLUMNS=72 <rest of command>'

The above seems to be unachievable. Thus, let's resort to good old bash
      aliases.

      emacs: Improve org-mode visual rendering · 4e9ad58a
      Fernando Basso authored
      - Change colors for +strike-through+, ~code~, and =verbatim=.
      - Make it possible to resize org display of images. Especially useful
when images are to large. Making them about 600px or 720px makes them
display more naturally inside emacs/org-mode. Use like this:

          #+ATTR_ORG: :width 720
          [[./image.png]]
