Third party lib FoX cannot be compiled with the most recent gfortran (6.4.1 and 7.3.1)

Dear FEMPAR developers,

There is a bug introduced in recent versions of gfortran (6.4.1, 7.3.1). These versions raise an internal compiler error when compiling FoX, a third party library of XH5For that is completely external to the FEMPAR project.

This issue has been reported in FoX's github. If you have a GitHub account you can subscribe to the issue to receive updates.

Until the issue is closed with a definite solution, FEMPAR users are advised to avoid using gfortran 6.4 or higher.
