Conditional crossposting via self-faves

Post relaying / crossposting is useful functionality but can be a real problem when applied without consideration. Posts made in one context (eg Twitter) and relayed to another environment (eg Fediverse) can be nonsensical or worse. IMO poorly applied crossposting currently serves to "spill" Twitter challenges into the Fediverse.

We have conditional crossposting via hashtags, but this means that one or both sides of the relayed post will contain a hashtag denoting it as such.

An alternative strategy is to hijack the "fave" functionality available in the existing UI (of most services?): crosspost, but only if I hit the on my own post. This is not noisy (it doesn't introduce a hashtag to the post). Instead it empowers moa.party users to opt into post relaying by tapping the star button, which is empowering and excellent UX.
