Branded GRUB theme for live media
# Design Request ## What do you need? A stylish Fedora GRUB theme that can be applied to our live media. ### Graphic Design / Artwork - [ ] A logo design - [ ] An icon - [ ] An infographic/chart - [ ] A template or design for printed materials - [ ] Swag design - [x] Graphic design not covered by the above ## Problem Statement Fedora lacks flair on our major entry-point: the ISOs people use to install Fedora Linux or Fedora Remixes. We've gone the route on the installed system to minimize the bootloader, but we can't really do that for the install media, where users need to see and select things. Making this look good, recognizable, and friendly would help reinforce that "polished" look we're going for. ## Contacts I can serve as the contact for this. ## Deadline I would _like_ to have something to consider for Fedora Linux 41 or 42. ## Who will benefit? Ideally, this will benefit everyone as this is something we can configure our media to use. ## Inspiration Examples / Competitive Analysis Here are some examples from other distributions. ### openSUSE #### UEFI ![Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.19.12_AM](/uploads/ac578af3dcd029e193566f2dbd27eaa3/Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.19.12_AM.png) #### Legacy BIOS ![Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.20.11_AM](/uploads/09214f2b381e57fa306fc9f549a59599/Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.20.11_AM.png) ### Mageia ![Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.24.09_AM](/uploads/0a388f0471d844e94ecd16bbe1e82c9f/Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.24.09_AM.png) ### OpenMandriva ![Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.42.20_AM](/uploads/24e17fc56a680535bef33be3e785e9e8/Screen_Shot_2024-03-03_at_7.42.20_AM.png) ### [`AdisonCavani/distro-grub-themes`](https://github.com/AdisonCavani/distro-grub-themes) This isn't really from another distribution, but seeing this was what inspired me to file this issue. ![distro-grub-themes/fedora](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdisonCavani/distro-grub-themes/master/preview/fedora.png) ## Priority/Severity <!-- Delete as appropriate.
