On today's DEI call it came to our attention that we have a few small pieces missing from the onboarding new team members process. We identified a couple of them as: * New member template for pagure/gitlab * And what should be on that template * Link to new member intro post on discussion * Areas of interest * Involvement in DEI groups (Fedora or others) * Link to docs that provide evaluation criteria Which initiated a different but related discussion regarding privacy concerns around this process: * Should the ticket be private to ensure peoples safety and comfort? * What are the pros or cons of having it public or private? * A process from another group was brought up as an example/comparison: in that group a current team member privately nominates a new person, discussion happens in that private forum, and once the group agrees to bring in the new member, an invitation is extended.
