#Summary: Show and play classical music from locally stored files, organised in Albums, Composers, Works, and Movements.
#Description: Instead of "Artists" and "Songs" in pop[ular] music, this program uses the metadata composer and grouping to organise the music in works (e.g. a symphony) consisting of movements (parts of this work).
Further, no text is truncated, i.e. long movement names or performer lists will take as much space on the screen as they need to be visible in full length.
The goal is to present an album, with cover art, similar to a CD cover. Example:
Wolfgang Mozart: Sinfonie Nr. 25 g-moll KV 183
1. Allegro con brio
2. Andante
3. Menuetto
4. Allegro
NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Eivind Gullberg Jensen
Wolfgang Mozart: Sinfonie Nr. 40 g-moll KV 550
1. Molto allegro
2. Andante
3. Menuetto
4. Allegro assai
NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Andrew Manze
Traditionally this album would look like this:
1. Allegro con brio (NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Eiv...)
2. Andante (NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Eivind Gullb...)
3. Menuetto (NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Eivind Gull...)
4. Allegro (NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Eivind Gullb...)
1. Molto Allegro con brio (NDR-Radiophilharmoni...)
2. Andante (NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Andrew Manze...)
3. Menuetto (NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Andrew Manz...)
4. Allegro assai (NDR-Radiophilharmonie, Andrew...)
i.e. there is neither a composer nor a work name, and the performers are shown for each movement which is treated as "song" (or "track" on a CD).
