Nail down btlog and key bugfix

Hans-Christoph Steiner requested to merge eighthave/fdroidserver:nail-down-btlog-and-bugfix into master

This includes an essential bug fix in fdroid update based on a silly mistake by me.

Then this also includes three commits to nail down the workings of the binary transparency log stuff, now that I've started deploying it as part of the Guardian Project repo, and externally for f-droid.org.
