Internationalization (i18n) of categories and metadata (app descriptions)

Hello Thanks everybody for your amazing work in F-Droid. The Android client app is fully internationalized (yay!) but the user still see the categories of apps in English, and apps descriptions too. This is a big barrier to F-Droid adoption in non-English speaking countries, IMHO.

I believe that making translatable those parts of the F-Droid system is not an easy task: AFAIK we rely on a single xml file that would be too big if it contains all the possible languages, and even if we find a nice solution, the required implementation changes would affect the F-Droid server, the F-Droid client, and the F-Droid data systems, probably.

I have very few Android and Python skills, but I file this bug so the need keeps registered, and maybe other people that are more skilled can take the challenge.
