Question regarding icon extraction

What's the situation with icon extraction?

Is fdroidserver supposed to be extracting icons? Because, it seems to me, that it's currently not doing so. For instance, com.unicornsonlsd.finamp in F-Droid Main doesn't have an icon and it seems that it includes PNG icons.
