Music Player Go: Development discontinued as of 01/2025

I only recently came to using F-Droid on LineageOS a bit more. In a search for a usable Music Player I came across Music Player Go and liked it. Because i was wondering why certain things do not work in the App (like finding new Music on my Phone) i went to the GitHub Profile and sadly found this notice as the only open issue: https://github.com/enricocid/Music-Player-GO/issues/569. There the author clearly declares that he will not continue developing the App. The github repo is also archived as of Jan 2025.

I am new to F-Droid dev but would like to contribute more in the future. I thought it might be a good idea to report this, as i would consider keeping out-dated / not maintained Apps out of the store or at least clearly marked there as crucial for F-Droid's usability.
