Buttons in update screen (and possibly elsewhere) are too small to be clickable
They are just too round and small, leading to often clicking "outside" of their boundaries and not doing what we want. And still, I don't have that large fingers. Sometimes one has to try 3 or 4 times and even when visually inside of them without any parallax error, they are still missed. Other times I just have to resort to a keyring or some other sharp metallic thing to target them correctly. Possibly it is exacerbated by the poor resolution of the touchscreen sensors on this cheap tablet, but it really is a design issue.
- Device OS and version: Android 4.1.1
- Device model/manufacturer: Polaroid
- F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.5-alpha0
What did you do? (clear steps if possible)
- Refresh repositories
- Go to update screen
- Try clicking the download buttons (down arrow), or "install" button and actually have them download or install.
What did you expect to see?
Properly accounting for close-enough clicks.
What did you see instead?
Clicking "outside" of the expected area leads to the application description screen, as if clicking on the name, forcing to click the back button or the install button there, and wasting time to locate them and move the finger there.
Example with pointing debug options enabled:
Trying to click the download button goes to…
The app info page.
