New versions of apps are breaking Replicant 6.0
- Device OS and version: Android 6.0.1, Replicant 6.0
- Device model/manufacturer: Galaxy S2 I9100
- F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.0.2
- F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): 0.2.6
What did you do? (clear steps if possible)
I tried to install the newest dandelion* 1.0.8 (Diaspora-for-Android) or Conversations 1.23.4 (XMPP client).
What did you see instead?
After installation some important apps start crashing like trebuchet, f-droid and com.android.settings.Settings.
More info
At first I though that the problem was specific to dandelion* 1.0.8 but it also happens with Conversations 1.23.4 , and I fear it might be the same for all other new apps.
I can still install old versions of both programs with no problem.
@gsantner, the dandelion*'s developer, seems to suggest in the following conversation that it has something to do with how are they been build?

I have also opened an issue on replicant's web site: https://redmine.replicant.us/issues/1872
I'm sending the logs I have gotten so far.
