[Accessibility] Talkback read too much content

  • Device OS and version: Android 15 (API 35)
  • Device model/manufacturer: Pixel 9a
  • F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.23.1
  • F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): Not installed

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

  1. Opened the F-Droid app.
  2. Enabled TalkBack (Android's screen reader).
  3. Navigated to the categories tab.
  4. Used TalkBack to focus on a "VIEW ALL X" button (e.g., "VIEW ALL 19" under the Email category).

What did you expect to see?

TalkBack should read a concise, accessible description of the button, such as: "View all 19 apps in Email category" or simply "View all 19 apps"

What did you see instead?

Instead of a clear and concise label, TalkBack read out an extremely long and verbose string containing: d9903c4293009ab6880553dcd76cb831
