F-Droid deletes downloaded APKs

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

Use F-Droid (for years), install apps, update apps. Then: look for the APKs

What did you expect to see?

The APKs in the cache directory /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/org.fdroid.fdroid/cache or somewhere else

What did you see instead?

Nothing. In Settings | Other | Keep cached apps is set to "Always".
