Repos did not auto-update on fresh install
- Device OS and version: Samsung Galaxy Tab S3
- Device model/manufacturer: SM-T825
- F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.17.0
- F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed):
What did you do? (clear steps if possible) Opened F-Droid (to delete OSMAnd+ for a complete clean re-install.
What did you expect to see? Normal 'Latest' screen
What did you see instead? Blank screen with the message:
No recent apps found
Once your list of apps has been updated, the latest apps should show here
Tapping on 'Updates' produces the mocking and illogical message:
Congratulations!
All your apps are up to date
'Settings' > 'Manage installed apps' produces the message:
No apps installed
There are apps on your device but they are not available from F-Droid. This could be becuse you need to update your repositories, or that the repositories genuinely don't have your apps available.
The only repository enabled is f-droid.org/repo. I've never had cause to tinker with the repo settings.
F-Droid has suddenly stopped working, not necesssarily in the last few weeks; I usually only open it when I notice updates are available. Could it be that a recent version didn't cater for those of us who have the common-sense to keep our additional apps and our data on a micro-SD card?
