Downloaded but not-yet-installed app state gets lost

• Device OS and version: Android 12
• F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.16.3

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

Tapped the Install button for an app. Download takes a long time (normal, not a problem), do something else. When it's downloaded, tap the notification to install it but it fails as usual (issue #1843, no biggie). Go into F-Droid app to install it.

What did you expect to see?

Something to indicate a pending install, preferably an entry in the Updates tab that says Downloaded, ready to install, as new versions do.

What did you see instead?

Nothing about the downloaded package, have to find it again. Search is limited to titles, what was it called again?
