feature request: manually clear cached apps

• Device OS and version: grapheneos latest (android 13)
• Device model/manufacturer: pixel 7 pro
• F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.16.1
• F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed):

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

Waited the 1 hour i have set to have cached apps clear

What did you expect to see?

Space to be freed from cached apps deletes

What did you see instead?

Nothing happened and my fdroid is still taking over 900 mb of space. 62mb for app size. 850 for user data. 2mb for cache.

The only way for me to delete cached downloaded apps is to clear user data which deletes my settings and repos. The cached apps not even exposed in any file browser. Clearing cache in settings only frees the 2mb.

Please add a tappable button in settings to manually clear cached apps at any time. Thank you
