order of preferred languages of metadata not respected

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

Language preference of my system is set to: eo-PL (only partial support by the system, selected with external application), pl-PL.
Open F-Droid and load index.

What did you expect to see?

See descriptions of applications according to my preference: in Esperanto, if not available in Polish, then if not available in default source language (mostly English).

What did you see instead?

Descriptions are in Polish, unavailable descriptions are in Esperanto, then in source language.

Interface of F-Droid is displayed correctly, problem relates only to metadata. Tried to change language to eo (without country) and refresh cache – without success. The problem not occurred in previous versions of F-Droid (I don't remember which exactly, probably below 1.12). The alternative client F-Droid Classic works correctly.
