Updates tab is non-responsive when opened from notification
- Device OS and version: Android 9 (HavocOS)
- Device model/manufacturer: OnePlus 6T
- F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.8
- F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): 0.2.11
The problem has also happened with Android 7, and with LineageOS, and on several other phones (Moto G series), through a number of F-Droid updates.
What did you do? (clear steps if possible)
- Wait for updates to become available for one or more apps installed through F-Droid.
- Receive an Android notification from F-Droid about the update(s).
- Tap the notification to open F-Droid to the Updates tab.
What did you expect to see?
I should be able to tap the buttons on the Updates tab in F-Droid to perform actions, like expanding the list of multiple updates, downloading all the updates, downloading a single update from the list, or tapping on an app in the list to go to its info page.
What did you see instead?
Nothing on the Updates tab responds to taps. If I navigate to another tab (Latest, Categories, Nearby, or Settings) using the bottom bar, and then navigate back to the Updates tab, then the Updates tab responds to taps as expected.
Other details
The problem does not happen if I open F-Droid some other way (like tapping its icon on my home screen) and navigate to the Updates tab myself.

#1624 (closed) is similar, but says that the buttons sometimes start working on their own after some time; that isn't the case for me.
