Please List Apps With Ads In F-Droid?

• Device model/manufacturer: Mi A1

• F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.2.2

• F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): Magisk Module - 2018-05-03

Did a search for some apps

What did you expect to see?

Expect to see it mentioned if an app comes with ads

What did you see instead?

I do not see the mention of apps with ads in F-Droid

I came across an app called the 'Privacy Browser' it is listed as a free and paid version if you look online, and the free version has an ad across the bottom, but in F-Droid there is no mention of the ad.

I'm glad I went online researching this app before installing it, because I hate ads in apps. But I found it really disappointing that F-Droid has apps listed, that isn't telling the end-user if it comes with ads or not.

Can you PLEASE, get F-Droid updated in the near future, so that all apps that come with ads are listed? I'm not a coder, but for simplicity, maybe in the Upper Left or Right corner, you can place an icon that says 'Ads', that is easy for people to see.

For now this is really going to be frustrating, looking at apps on F-Droid, and then needing to go surf online to read and see if the apps has ads before installing it. 🤦

Don't take my words wrong, I LOVE F-Droid, and I truly appreciate the work being done, but this is something that is really needed for F-Droid, and I hope this will happen.
