fdroid does not install anymore

  • tried e OS and version: Android 4.2.2
  • Device model/manufacturer: fairphone fp1
  • F-Droid version (in the About screen): N/A anymore
  • F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): N/A anymore

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

The issue appeared during fdroid update via fdroid.

What did you expect to see?

The new version of fdroid.

What did you see instead?

Fdroid quit after update (this is quite usual), but there is no more launcher for the app. Also, no apk in /system/app. There is still the apk for privileged extensions but it doesn't appear in the launchers.

I tried to dpwnload manually the apk from fdroid site but update failed

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
